This stack of eight 44-gallon oil drums is precisely scaled down to 1:56 to fit seamlessly into a wargaming environment. Each drum's diameter and height are proportionate to what you'd expect in reality, providing a sense of depth and authenticity to scenarios they're placed in. Looking closely, you'll see the distinctive features of the drums, making them a great addition for setting scenes or as loads for vehicles.

Part of the charm and realism comes from the details - pumps, fittings, and decals are modelled with care to ensure they reflect their full-sized counterparts. The shadows and highlights painted on each drum suggest volume and texture, while the partially draped tarp creates a sense of narrative - as if hastily covered in an operational setting.

For fellow hobbyists who enjoy the tactical depth of wargaming, this set can be a versatile and evocative piece of terrain, useful for cover or simply adding realism to your tabletop battles.

Dimensions: Each drum is 10mm in diameter x 15mm tall. Overall size of the stack is 43 mm L x 21 mm W x 15 mm H.

This model is supplied unpainted, allowing you to customise it to fit the colour scheme and aesthetic of your personal collection.

Text Description:

1:56 for 28mm

A single casting stack of 8 44 drums

"To achieve a similar finish to this stack of 44-gallon oil drums covered by a tarp, start with a solid acrylic base coat to ensure a consistent foundation. Next, use a variety of muted metallic and rust-coloured paints to give the drums an authentic, weathered look. Subtle dry-brushing can help highlight edges and create a sense of wear and tear. For the tarp, I chose a colour that suggests a heavy-duty, canvas material, and used shading to create depth and the illusion of folds. Finally, a matte varnish can protect the piece and cut down on unrealistic shine." - Stuart
