This model is a 1:56 scale representation of the iconic WW2 era AUSTIN K5 military vehicle, respected for its vital role in supporting Allied forces.

As a keen gamer myself, I understand the importance of accuracy and realism in models for historical wargaming plus the need for speed from purchase to table top. I have tried to make as many of my models as I can requiring no assembly. Some do, but I have tried to keep the parts to as few pieces as possible. All are supplied unpainted giving you the opportunity to personalise it with a paint scheme that fits your own game's era and theatre. The final look is up to you. "To achieve a similar finish to this model, I first applied a primer to ensure the paint would adhere well. Next, I covered the main body in a matte field green, using a small brush to reach the finer details and crevices. For the canvas cover on the back, I opted for a khaki shade, adding subtle highlights to simulate wear and fabric folds. The windows received a light blue tint to suggest reflection. Weathering was done sparingly with a dry-brushed application of a lighter dust colour on the tyres and lower body to depict operational use. Finally, a protective matte varnish was used to seal the paintwork and add durability." - Stuart
