These resin whiskey casks, accurately scaled at 1:76, are crafted to enhance any OO railway setting, offering an evocative representation of vintage infrastructure. Their realistic textures capture the essence of the wooden staves and metal banding, providing a visually appealing element to wagons or as standalone details beside railway tracks. I have ensured that each set of casks fits together harmoniously, suggesting a sense of organisation you might find trackside or in a goods yard. The dimensions are primed for OO gauge wagons; however, make sure to measure your specific models to guarantee a snug fit, as some modification may be necessary depending on the variety of wagons in your collection. These models come to you unpainted, allowing for personal customisation.

If using as a railway wagon load please check the dimensions of your wagon before ordering.

There are too many types for me to make a one size fits all. Some of my loads can be cut down and sanded to fit.

"To achieve a similar look for these stacked wooden whiskey casks, I started with a base coat of dark brown to represent the wood, ensuring I got into all the nooks to give depth to the barrels. Once dry, I lightly dry brushed with a lighter shade of brown to highlight the wooden staves and the metal bands were carefully picked out with a muted metallic shade. The finishing touch was a very light tan dry brush on the edges to represent wear and handling. The trick is to keep your hand steady and use a fine brush for the metal bands to maintain the neatness of the details." - Stuart
