As a keen modeller myself, I'm pleased with how this 1:76 scale harbour wall corner turned out. Drawing from the character of Scottish fishing villages, it's designed to enhance any OO railway layout or 20 mm wargame terrain with a subtle curve and a gentle slope that mimics a natural shoreline. Its footprint is compact, with dimensions of 26 mm in length, 11 mm width at the base tapering to 8 mm at the top, and standing 30 mm in height, which easily integrates into varied scenic designs. Suitable for those looking to add an atmospheric touch to their miniature settings, this piece slots in elegantly, ready for you to paint to suit your scene. If you're looking to capture the essence of a coastal scene, this piece is a reliable foundation for that purpose. The model is supplied unpainted, allowing you the freedom to customise the finish to your own preference.

"To achieve the finished look of this harbour wall section, I started with a careful base coat to ensure all the nooks and crannies were covered, then I applied a dark wash to bring out the rough stone texture. Dry brushing with lighter shades highlighted the edges and contours, creating a worn look as if weathered by the sea and wind. I paid special attention to the top of the wall, where it would be most exposed to the elements, to ensure that it had a natural gradient of wear." - Stuart
