Two lengths of a stone wall featuring a double gate, carefully crafted to suit both OO railway setups and wargaming scenes in 1:76 scale. With careful attention to the nuances of stonework and wood textures, the intention was to create a piece that brings depth and life to miniature landscapes and strategic play. Each section measures 75 mm in length, 4 mm in width, and 15 mm in height, designed to integrate seamlessly with other wall components while maintaining the coherence of scale. The choice of details, from the arrangement of stones to the construction of the gate, reflects a respect for history and the keen eye of enthusiasts who appreciate a level of realism in their setups. This model complements a variety of scenes, whether it's a bucolic countryside for railway enthusiasts or a strategic boundary for wargamers requiring cover or an obstacle.

Please note that the model is supplied unpainted.

4mm/1:76 scale for OO railways or 20 mm wargames. 2 lengths of stone wall with gates for use with our other wall sections. Dimensions. 75 mm L x 4 mm

"To achieve this finish on the stone wall with double gate, I started with a base of grey primer to ensure the subsequent layers of paint would adhere properly and to bring out the details. Once the primer was dry, I applied a mid-tone grey for the stonework, letting it settle into the recesses to create natural shadows. I used a lighter grey dry brush technique to highlight the edges and textures of the stone, giving it a weathered look. For the wooden gates, I chose a brown base coat, followed by a lighter brown dry brushing to enhance the wood grain. Lastly, I carefully picked out the metal hinges and handles with a touch of metallic paint to produce a realistic metal finish. Patience and steady hands are your best allies when painting miniatures, ensuring each feature is brought out without overwhelming the model's intricate details." - Stuart
