1:56 BRICK WALL WITH GATES

For the wargamer using 28mm figures in their historical gaming this wall section is part of a series of brick and stone wall sections to help create urban features. It is just one of my range of 1:56 scale resin cast pieces that are designed to help you create all sorts of interesting scenarios in your tabletop gaming. As a keen gamer myself, I understand the importance of accuracy and realism in models for historical wargaming plus the need for speed from purchase to table top. I have tried to make as many of my models as I can requiring no assembly. Some do, but I have tried to keep the parts to as few pieces as possible. All are supplied unpainted giving you the opportunity to personalise it with a paint scheme that fits your own game's era and theatre. The final look is up to you. Dimensions of the finished model are 147mm L x 6mm W x 28mm H. Gates are each 25mm wide x 2mm thick x 27mm tall. 

"To achieve this level of finish on the brick wall with gates, I started with a base coat of grey to get good coverage over the resin. I then applied various shades of brown and red with a dry brushing technique to bring out the texture of the bricks, followed by a lighter grey highlight for the capping stones to create contrast. For the gates, I used a rich, deep brown with subtle wood grain highlights to give them an aged wooden look. Weathering was done sparingly to keep it realistic." - Stuart
