This tin shed model replicates a modern sheet metal industrial or agricultural building common from the mid-20th century to the present day. Its design is reflective of the structures often seen alongside railway lines and in rural settings, crafted at a precise 1:76 scale to ensure it fits seamlessly into both wargaming scenes and OO railway layouts. The removable roof feature provides flexibility for interior detailing or to stage various scenarios. Great care has been taken to replicate the distinctive corrugated metal surface, typical of such sheds, which will look right at home in any layout depicting the recent past or modern era. In size, the model measures 84mm in length, 78mm in width, and 55mm in height, offering substance without dominating the scene. Please note that this model is supplied unpainted, allowing you to customise the finish to suit your specific scene or preference.

"To achieve a finish similar to this painted tin shed, I started by applying a base coat of acrylic paint, ensuring even coverage to maintain scale accuracy. Once dried, I layered several washes to add depth to the corrugated texture, allowing the darker tones to settle into the recesses. I then dry-brushed lighter tones onto the raised areas to highlight the texture and create a weathered look. Subtle rust effects were added to emulate wear and tear, using a fine brush to apply them sparingly along edges and corners where natural weathering would occur. All these steps were done with a steady hand and an eye for detail to ensure the end result looks just as good on a railway setup or a wargame landscape." - Stuart
